Hi! I'm Viktor, a second-year Honours Mathematics and Computer Science student at McGill University. My passion lies in applying mathematics and computer science to solve real-world problems. As evidenced by my projects, I thrive on exploring the connection between the world and technology, seeking innovative solutions, and driving impactful change.
Currently proficient in Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, R, and more, I am continuously expanding my skills and knowledge to take on new challenges and opportunities.
Relevant coursework that I have taken so far includes COMP 208: Computer Programming for PS&E, COMP 250: Intro to Computer Science, MATH 203-204: Principles of Statistics 1-2, MATH 133: Linear Algebra and Geometry, and MATH 141: Calculus 2.
Also, for the past couple of years, I've been a lifeguard and swim instructor. I've found this role incredibly fulfilling and rewarding as it allows me to share my passion for swimming with others and teach people of all ages the beauty and joy of the sport.
I've also worked as a gelato artist for Amorino (a well-known ice cream place), thriving in an incredibly fast-paced and dynamic environment with lines out the door most days.
I love sports, with skiing being my favorite, although, unfortunately, I can only go a few times during the school year. I also enjoy running and swimming to stay active.
When I'm not active, you'll often find me with a book or newspaper in hand, catching up on the latest stories or news.
